It was a tough day for the Cincinnati Bengals, as the club lost 34-12 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11. Things got heated between the two teams when quarterback Jalen Ramsey was ejected for punching wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Ramsey claimed the reason he punched Chase was because the Bengals wide receiver spit on him.
However, Ja’Marr Chase denied the accusation in the postgame press conference. Things have changed since then, however, as video emerged showing Chase apparently spitting on Ramsey, according to Austin Briski of FOX19.

Shortly after the video was released, it was announced that the NFL would be investigating the incident between Ja’Marr Chase and Jalen Ramsey, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. A final decision could be announced in the coming days. An NFL spokesperson said the league will review the incident between Jalen Ramsey and Ja’Marr Chase.
While the NFL awaits its decision, the league could fine the 25-year-old wide receiver a significant amount. He could also be suspended for at least one game. Ultimately, the final decision is up to the league at this point. So Ja’Marr Chase will have to wait and see what happens.
The former first-round pick had a rough day against the Steelers, gaining just 30 receiving yards on three receptions. He was locked down for much of the game, and it showed as the Bengals struggled throughout the game. Cincinnati will have a chance to get back on track in Week 12 when the Bengals face the New England Patriots.
